Novosibirsk State University, in 1994 G. defended her thesis on the topic "Ultrastructural and cytochemical analysis of the rat myocardium under extreme temperature effects", in 1999 G. – doctoral dissertation on the topic “Ultrastructural foundations of adaptive myocardial reorganization under the action of extreme environmental factors (contrasting temperatures and hypogeomagnetic environment)».

The main direction of scientific research is the study of the structural mechanisms of compensatory-adaptive reactions under the influence of extreme environmental factors and age-related features of regeneration and remodeling of the heart..

M.G. Klinnikova studied the general patterns of structural reorganization of the myocardium on the tissue, cellular and intracellular levels under the action of contrasting temperature effects and hypogeomagnetic environment on the body, and the main criteria for the morphofunctional state of the myocardium under these conditions are identified. Installed, that changes in tissue reorganization of the myocardium to a greater extent reflect the nonspecific response of the heart muscle to the development of stress and are an integral part of the general adaptation syndrome. When studying the age-related features of myocardial reorganization, it was shown, that remodeling of the heart in late ontogenesis can occur without a significant decrease in the total number of cardiomyocytes, while with cardiotoxic effects, a key factor, determining dilated remodeling of the heart, is a pronounced decrease in the total number of cardiomyocytes as a result of their death by apoptosis. The molecular-biological and structural reorganization of the myocardium of Wistar rats was studied in the dynamics of the experiment on modeling anthracycline cardiomyopathy and the administration of betulonic acid amide and atorvastatin as cytoprotectors.. Installed, that cytoprotective reactions are induced in the myocardium, initially on the intracellular, then at the cellular level.
