In Vladivostok 26-27 May the III Far Eastern Scientific and Practical Conference "Safety in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care" was held. The Pacific State Medical University conducted 2 plenary sessions on a wide range of issues in critical care medicine; breakout session on regional anesthesia;sectional session on anesthesiology-resuscitation and intensive care for nurses; school of neuroreanimatology; master class "Monitoring of intracranial pressure". Speakers from Moscow,Petersburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk and other cities represented 54 the report. Leading Researcher, FRC FTM, MD. Chechenin Mikhail Gennadievich made a presentation "Modern possibilities for monitoring the state of the hemostasis system in clinical practice", during which he introduced the conference participants to the advanced development from Siberia – low frequency piezoelectric thromboelastography (NPTEG – Mednord, Tomsk).
