Dear colleagues!
We invite you 21 – 23 October 2025 year to take part in the VII International Scientific Virological Conference “IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY AND SPREAD OF VIRAL INFECTIONS IN EURASIA”, as well as at the XIII school for young scientists “EPIDEMIOLOGY AND EPIZOOTOLOGY OF ZOONOZIC INFECTIONS AND COUNTERING BIOGENIC THREATS”. The conference and the school will be held on the basis of the Research Institute of Virology FRC FTM g. Novosibirsk, st. Timakova 2.
We are pleased to announce, that we want to expand the range of topics, that will be discussed at the conference and invite you to make proposals for adding Sections, topics of round tables and practical exercises (address for offers: pnpalianova@frcftm.ru). The main purpose of the conference is to coordinate domestic and international virological research, related to the study of viral pathogens, potentially dangerous to humans, animals and crops. Traditionally, the section on the influence of climatic and environmental factors on the spread and variability of viruses is preserved, carried by migratory animals. We are also announcing a section on general issues of virology, section of modern approaches and data analysis and section of plant viruses.

The School program includes trips to the habitats of NSO bats, collection of biological material, ornithological and chiropterological workshops.

Scientific directions (conference sections):
Section 1: General questions of virology
Section 2: Climatic and environmental factors, influencing the spread and variability of viruses
Section 3: Ecology of viruses
Subsection: Viruses, bat-borne
Subsection: Viruses, carried by birds
Subsection: Virome and viral metagenomics
Section 4: Modern approaches and data analysis in biology
Section 5: Plant viruses and epiphytoty threats
Conference format - mixed (personal participation and on-line participation). The working languages of the conference are English and Russian (in the absence of reports from English-speaking participants in the section).
