The V International Scientific Conference “The Impact of Climate Change on Biodiversity and the Spread of Viral Infections of Animals in Eurasia” was held at the Federal Research Center for Fundamental and Translational Medicine and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Research Institute of Virology.

Conference abstracts

Reference: The Research Institute of Virology is a structural subdivision of the Federal Research Center for Basic and Translational Medicine (FIC FTM). The Institute is a leading scientific institution in the Siberian region, engaged in the comprehensive study of viruses, circulating in the wild, pets and humans, with the definition of their properties, including assessment of potential hazards.

At the opening of the conference, delegates from Tajikistan presented a gift to the director of the FRC FTM, academician Voevoda Mikhail Ivanovich, and the director of the Research Institute of Virology, Shestopalov Alexander Mikhailovich, a memorable gift for the anniversary of the Institute of Virology.

Over three days, the event was attended by more than 100 Human, how in person, including speakers from China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, various cities of Russia, and online (reports from Japan and China).
