Staff and students of the Federal Research Center for Basic and Translational Medicine (FIC FTM) demonstrated a high level of scientific developments in the field of cardiology and vascular pathology. Young scientists successfully spoke at the XXVII International Congress “Health and Education in the 21st Century”, which passed 15-16 November in Moscow (https://scongress.org/). Event, dedicated to the year of Defender of the Fatherland, brought together leading experts to discuss global problems of medicine and innovations in healthcare. Researchers from the FRC FTM not only presented their work, but also won several prizes in competitive sections.

Wins in oral presentations:
· 1st year graduate student Koltyugina Valeria Aleksandrovna took III place with the report “Recurrence of pulmonary embolism: predictors of occurrence, flow, forecast" (scientific supervisor – doctor of medical sciences, Professor N.G.. Lozhkina).
· A 6th-year student of the NSU IMMT, Junior Researcher, FRC FTM Andreeva Elizaveta Olegovna was also awarded III places for the report «Syndrome of cardiotoxicity, induced by doxirubicin" (managers: PhD. R.A. Knyazev and Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor N.G.. Lozhkina).

Success in poster session:
Postgraduate students of the 2nd year of study also showed striking results, who presented their research in poster format.
· Vedeneev Pavel Grigorievich with the topic “Development of prognostic models of in-hospital mortality in patients with cardioembolic stroke and atrial fibrillation” took II place.
· Mityukhin Ivan Ivanovich with the work “Results of one-year outcomes of PCSK9 - targeted therapy in patients at extremely high and extreme cardiovascular risks” became the winner, having conquered And the place.

Scientific supervisor of young scientists, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalya Gennadievna Lozhkina, noted the significance of the event: “Participation in a congress of this level is a unique opportunity to share experience, as well as an important step to strengthen international scientific relations".
