What is targeted learning?
Targeted learning is a form of learning, in which the applicant, after enrolling in the university, enters into an agreement with his future employer. According to this agreement student studies for free, receives a scholarship, and may also qualify for additional support measures
from a future employer (for example, reimbursement of travel expenses,
provision of housing, payment for food, etc.).
Benefits of the program:
- obtaining a specialty, in demand by employers in the region;
- understanding, where and who will the student work after graduation?;
- knowing your future salary;
- confidence in employment after graduation.
How to proceed for places within the target quota?
Admission for places within the target quota – This is a special format for admission to a university, which allows you to enroll in training
according to a separate competition.
Step one:
Find a suitable vacancy on the website of the “Work in Russia” platform
or when submitting an application to a university through State Services.
Step two:
Submit an application at State Services or directly to the university (personal,
by mail or through the university information system). Important: admission
within the framework of a competition for a target quota can only be selected by one educational program.
Step three:
Monitor the selection results through your personal account on State Services or the official website of the university.
Step four:
Conclude a targeted agreement with the customer of targeted training (after publication of the enrollment order) before the start of the school year.
Application deadlines (The university sets deadlines for accepting documents within the specified dates):
for bachelor's programs, specialty, basic higher education – With 20 June on 25 July;
for master's programs - With 20 June to 20 August;
for postgraduate programs – With 20 June through State Services before date, established by the university (scientific organization), at the same time the university (scientific organization) may set an earlier date for admission
documents on paper.
According to residency programs, internship assistantships:
A citizen must independently familiarize himself with the proposals of customers on the “Work in Russia” platform and submit an application for concluding an agreement on targeted training at a university within the deadline, established in this university
to receive applications for admission to study (For residency programs, documents are accepted no earlier than 1 July, for assistantship-internship programs - on time, established by the university).
