The laboratory was created in October 2022 year within the result 2.2 “New laboratories have been created, including under the guidance of young promising researchers" of the federal project "Development of Human Capital in the Interests of the Regions, industries and the research and development sector" of the national project "Science and Universities".
The main goal of the laboratory is to develop diagnostic test systems to identify some of the most significant viral, bacterial and fungal pathogens of agricultural plants and animals; creation of pharmacologically active recombinant polypeptides for the production of therapeutic drugs based on them.
Activities – Scientific research of the laboratory is carried out in two main directions:
- Study of the pathogenicity of some viral pathogens of economically important agricultural crops; development of diagnostic tools, prevention and treatment of these diseases.
- Development of competitive domestic biological products based on recombinant proteins for the treatment of socially significant human diseases. Testing of the obtained biological products in vitro and in vivo.
Research methods – biochemical, microbiological, genetic engineering methods, immunohistochemical, cytological, flow cytometry methods.

Pykhtina Maria Borisovna
Head of Laboratory – Candidate of Biological Sciences,
senior researcher
AT 2010 Graduated with honors from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Institute of Natural and Socio-Economic Sciences, majoring in biology. S 2010-2013 years. studied at the graduate school of the Research Institute of Biochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. AT 2022 G. Defended her PhD thesis on the topic: "Apolipoprotein AI-containing chimeric polypeptides as a delivery system for therapeutic biomacromolecules" in the specialty 1.5.4. - biochemistry. Awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences.
Area of scientific interests: production of recombinant therapeutic proteins (cytokines, enzymes) produced by E. coli, P. pastoris and study of their functional characteristics.
Main results of scientific activities: P strains constructed. pastoris, producing recombinant authentic human cytokines (rhIFN, rhG-CSF and rhGM-CSF), as well as their chimeric forms with Apolipoprotein A-I (ApoA-I) person (rhIFN-ApoA-I, rhG-CSF-ApoA-I and rhGM-CSF-ApoA-I).
The promise of using ApoA-I as part of chimeric constructs for the purpose of protection has been demonstrated, reducing toxicity and prolonging the action of cytokines. The creation of chimeric ApoA-I-containing proteins can be the basis for the creation of a new generation of immunotherapeutic drugs.
