FIC FTM clinic continues to develop its capabilities by updating the Park of Medical Equipment Park.
In December 2024 year, a new video information center Olympus CV-170 Optera was put into operation for esophagogastroduodenoscopy and colonoscopy.
CV-170 is an expert-class video complex of the Optera system from Olympus, which provides access to a wide range of diagnostic capabilities:
HDTV High Definition Images (high resolution allows you to visualize the slightest changes in tissue structure for early diagnosis of inflammation and tumors. The higher the image resolution, the greater the likelihood of detecting focal changes at an early stage);
NBI Imaging Technology (is an optical image enhancement technology, which improves the visibility of blood vessels and other structures on the surface of the mucous membrane. Since the gastrointestinal tract is full of blood vessels, narrow spectrum lighting, which is strongly absorbed by hemoglobin, is ideal for enhancing the contrast between blood vessels and mucosa)
Technology NBI :
-Improves the visibility of blood vessels and the vascular pattern on the surface of the mucous membrane and in the submucosal layer.
-Allows visualization of tumors, inaccessible when viewed in classic white light;
Increased structure clarity
-Clarity Enhancement sharpens endoscopic images using advanced noise reduction algorithms. This function
emphasizes the smallest tissue textures and subtle colors of the mucous membrane.
Available 2 type of sharpening:
-TYPE A (traditional) – gives the best results when studying larger and more contrasting structures of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract.
-TYPE C (new) – suitable for examining small structures of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract.
